PLC Group in Co Louth have a permanent opportunity available for an Assistant Accountant, to join a busy finance department. This position is hybrid working with 3 days per week in the Drogheda office. Key Responsibilities. * Support for monthly financial reporting process. * Preparation of balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations. * Statutory filings. * Assist in monthly operating costs and balance sheet analysis. * Support with the delivery of financial forecasts and budgets. * Assist with internal and external audit queries. * Liaise with various internal and external partners and stakeholders. * Journal postings to all ledgers. * Assist with enforcement and continuous improvement of internal control procedures. Qualification and Experience. * ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPA part qualified Accountant or IATI qualified. * At least two years accounting experience in a simular role. * Experience in the energy sector would be preferable but is not essential.
