Production Manager. Role Type: Permanent. Role Location: Monaghan commutable from Louth/Cavan/Armagh/Fermanagh. Due to continued growth and expansion my client is now seeking to hire an experienced Production Manager to assist in the day to day management of a busy manufacturing site. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspect of pre-production planning, production control and supervision. Overview of the role. Ability to work within a management team to achieve operational outcomes. Organise workflow, develop productions processes and select appropriate equipment. Determine necessary human and material resources. Supervise and motivate a production team, review performance and identify training needs. Maintain adequate stock levels. Minimise production waste and cost. Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes. Implementation of best practice in Health & Safety compliance. Requirements to do this job. Proven experience in Production Management, preferably in an Engineering/Manufacturing related industry. Extensive knowledge of lean management and performance evaluation. Experience in formulation and reporting of key production metrics. Experience in dealing with CNC & automated production machinery is desirable. Familiarity of quality standards and health & safety regulations. Proficient in MS Office excel. Excellent organisational and leaderships skills with high attention to detail. Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
