Our client is a leading international FMCG organisation based in Ireland that has undergone enormous growth over the past 5 years. This growth has led to new positions opening within their account management teams across Ireland and the UK. This position will be responsible for the Amazon UK account. The Role: Develop existing accounts by extending product listings and agreeing on activities with Amazon UK that will deliver growth in line with targets and objectives, while also seeking to identify and develop new business sales opportunities. You will meet with key customers regularly to build relationships, develop and execute customer specific business plans that are aligned with customer and marketing strategies. Within this account, you will be accountable for sales and profitability targets by closely managing pricing, negotiating terms, managing product mix and promotions. As Key Account Manager for Amazon UK, you will develop and execute business plans to deliver sales results, including maximized volume potential, increase merchandising effectiveness, growth of product group(s), and brand share, have responsibility for accurate forecasting of monthly sales and lead annual business planning process within the assigned account(s. You will manage and report on key metrics to track progress in assigned accounts and adjust joint business plans as needed to ensure the deliverance of results. You will leverage business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at top levels and create insightful presentations that translate sales objectives into customer and business strategy. The Person: Previous experience in a similar position within the FMCG environment with a proven track record of exceeding targets and objectives within the Amazon account, locally or abroad. A relevant third level qualification is desired and excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential. Strong computer skills are required for this position e.g. MS Office suite as well as a very versatile and results-driven attitude. There will be travel involved in this position to the UK which will account for up to 30%. This role will be primarily based in Ireland.
