An Irish owned entrepreneurial company which is fast becoming a world leader in the supply of consumer products is searching for a Maintenance Technician to join their innovative and collaborative team. You will be based at their head office in Co. Louth which is the company's primary site for worldwide manufacturing spanning 42 countries and counting, using state of the art machinery. The Role: As part of the team, the Maintenance Technician will be accountable for providing electrical maintenance support across the entirety of the company. You will need to be results focused, a team player with the ability to use your own initiative to make and action decisions. Key responsibilities would include: Ensuring technical support for all areas of product manufacture. Identifying and executing small projects accordingly. Assuring the availability of production assets. Other core areas of your role as Maintenance Technician will include but are not limited to: Training in new and existing technicians. Support business development projects of any scale. The Person: The ideal Systems Maintenance Technician will have a background in Maintenance Engineering with the aptitude to be flexible in a fast-moving environment. Areas of experience and expertise would include: More than 3 years experience in a high-volume production environment. Senior trades qualified (Electrical based. Flexible attitude towards work with the ability to respond to business priorities appropriately. Preferred experience and qualifications: CAPEX project management experience. Experience of design for reliability. PLC program diagnostic capabilities.
