Our client a well-established payroll outsource provider are searching for a strong Senior Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. Currently searching a strong customer focussed individual with extensive payroll experience in a bureau or large volume payroll environment. Duties & Responsibilities Processing multiple payrolls on behalf of clients accurately, on time and efficiently. Ensure compliance, data protection and control risk within the function. Provide friendly support to clients and their employees for all payroll related matters. Be enthusiastic and passionate about providing clients with the highest level of service. Maintaining and further developing the relationship with the existing customer base throughout Ireland and the UK. Identifying opportunities and implementing solutions with both the existing and new client set. Flexibility to meet changes in working requirements is essential. Key Competencies The Ideal candidates will have the following skills, experience and qualifications: Experience of Sage Micropay, Megapay or similar, Payroll Journals, CSO Returns, and Year End Procedures. Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel & Outlook. Excellent time management, administration skills and attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work well under pressure. Genuine passion for payroll and eager to learn. Responsible for scheduling and prioritising client payrolls and delivering projects as required. Liaising with the other Payroll Specialists in the team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery in line with Service Level Agreements and excellence in customer service experiences. Serve as a back-up for other team members and able to handle all key payroll processing areas. Maintaining and further developing the relationship with new and existing customer base including the facilitation of client reviews and meetings. Regular auditing of documentation to ensure compliance with regulations. Participate in payroll process improvement projects, efficiencies, automation and systems enhancements. Maintenance of effective controls and business continuity plans with sensitivity to data security. Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, KPIs, budgets and other financial and quality control matters. Participation in projects as requested including system implementation, process reviews, product/service innovation, testing etc. Communicate and support cross-functional goals and objectives. Be enthusiastic and passionate about providing clients with the highest level of service. Flexibility to meet changes in working requirements is essential.
