EPS Group have an excellent opportunity for energetic and enthusiastic person to join our Operations team as a vacancy has arisen for a Technical Support Coordinator. The position will be based in the Louth area. The role requires a flexible person who is self-motivated, a self-starter and who manages their time well. The ideal candidate will have good communication skills and a good command of the English language with the ability to communicate well at all levels within the company and with clients. Main Duties include: Data analysis and generation of technical reports. Generation of monthly invoices to clients. Occasional laboratory work. Laboratory tests include BOD, COD, suspended solids and other standard wastewater analysis techniques. Compilation of monthly performance maintenance reports for Irish Water, local authorities and other clients. Occasional site visits to do process checks, collect samples and assist operational staff at various locations. Compliance monitoring of contractual & waste water discharge licence emission limit values as well as other environmental monitoring such as odour and noise. Maintenance of analysis schedules including liaising with site operators and external laboratories. Ordering laboratory chemicals & equipment. Maintenance of sludge movement records. Maintenance of laboratory equipment calibration schedules. Maintenance of ISO 14001 and standard operating procedure documentation. Organisation of used laboratory chemical disposal. Skills required: A science degree or other related subject. Experience in waste water treatment plant or water treatment plant environment preferable but not essential. Ability to plan, prioritise and effectively manage time, meet strict deadlines and work to high standard, both on own initiative and as part of a team. Advanced PC skills such as Excel and Word. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Full clean driving licence. Candidates must have a valid permit to work in Ireland. EPS do not require the services of recruiters for this role.
