Description

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Operating as part of the Quality Team, supporting operations in the area of quality assurance for the DHC & MPS business units; with specific focus on metrology, incoming and in process inspections and root cause analysis. This is a staff role reporting to the Microbiologist and will operate on days. RESPONSIBILITIES : Performing First Article Inspections Of Moulded Components. Execution Of Metrology Activities Using Smartscope/OGP Technology. Supporting QN Investigations And Product Disposition for the DHC and MPS Businesses. Assisting With Root Cause Analysis Investigation for Internal and Customer QNs. As Required, Perform Component and Product Inspections at In-Process and Incoming Levels. Generation of Master Defect Samples. Support The Compliance of the Quality System With All Applicable Medical Device Regulations as well as the BD Corporate QSR. Contribute To Plant Maintaining On-Going Compliance With ISO13485. Support Quality Engineering/Continuous Improvement Activities as Required. Ensure Adherence To All BD Regulatory Requirements. Promotion of Quality Awareness and cGMP Within the Plant. SOP Writing and Maintenance. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Diploma level in Engineering, Science or similar technical discipline. Further education may be required by the company if development is deemed necessary. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 1+ Years relevant work experience in a high volume manufacturing environment. Experience in a regulated industry desirable. Understanding of GMP an advantage. Experience of metrology and use of automated measurement systems desirable. About Us.
