Our client is an innovative and market leading FMCG company based in Louth. With a strong portfolio of own and private label brands, my client has seen significant growth in their operations in the last few years. They are currently expanding their Sales team, and as such have a Key Account manager (Ireland and UK) vacancy. The Role. As Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts via extending product listings and agreeing activities with customers that will provide growth in line with targets as well as identifying and developing new business sales opportunities. You will build relationships, develop and execute Customer Business Plans to deliver sales results, including maximised volume potential, increased merchandising effectiveness, growth of product groups and brand share with a responsibility for forecasting of monthly sales and leading annual business planning process with key accounts. Closely monitoring feedback trends and opportunities from customer meetings sales events and key management meetings while also managing and reporting on to track progress and make adjustments to deliver sales and ensuring payment terms are met. You will leverage business analytics to influence customer and company decision making at top levels and create impactful insights based presentations to translate sales objectives into customer strategy and business plans around distribution, merchandising, promotion and planogram placement. You will work closely with marketing teams to plan marketing activities to boost sales as well as the operations team to plan production based on forecasts. The Person. You are degree educated with 5 years relevant experience in a FMCG/CPG experience and a proven track record of exceeding targets and objectives. You have a strong commercial acumen and excellent negotiation skills alongside a strong ability to develop and maintain relationships. You are proficient with Microsoft Suite, sales database and web applications with excellent communication, time management, organisation and presentation skills.
