Our client is an innovative and market leading FMCG company based in Louth. With a strong portfolio of own and private label brands, my client has seen significant growth in their operations in the last few years. They are currently expanding their marketing team and have a Category Insights Analyst position available. The Role. As Category Insights Analyst, you will deliver category and shopper insights to develop growth levers for the brand for both sales and marketing teams to work with. You will use insights to develop joint category plans with customers, making recommendations relating to product range, merchandising, in-store marketing and promotions, assisting in growing share and turnover in key categories. You will format strategies in existing and new markets through the leveraging of market insights and present findings and recommendations with the ability to influence senior leaderships. Building insights to deliver a fact based selling story for business development to retailers across digital markets and preparing regular market and brand performance updates both internally and externally based on Nielsen, Kantar, EYC and Dunnhumby. You will work to establish strong working relationships with other stakeholders including sales teams, product innovation, trade and consumer marketing to achieve objectives without the involvement of senior management. The Person. You have 2 years' experience with shopper/consumer marketing research exposure ideally within the FMCG industry, having a Bachelor's degree or qualification of similar level. You have a high level of Data literacy and interpretation skills with an intellectual ability to see beyond number to drive sound decision making. Having worked previously with Spaceman or other similar merchandising software is an advantage for this position.
